Instagram will support the NFT marketplace hosted by Polygon.
The functionalities have already gone live with a select number of American creators and will soon be available in other nations as well. According to Meta, support for Solana's Phantom wallet is also operational, and platform users may now examine data for collections from OpenSea.

According to Stephane Kasriel, Meta's commerce fintech and web3 head, a creator economy with a potential value of $100 billion cannot be realised without a digital economy with higher portability than today's web services. As part of its continuous goal to assist creators in making a living, Meta won't start charging fees in its marketplace for digital collectibles until 2024 and will pay for any gas expenses associated with the blockchain.
